The rooms here were also large, and much cleaner than the flooded and rotten rooms below. Here we found the
second, and much larger, telephone exchange which was in much better condition.
Some of the lettering on the sheet metal covers gave some indication of the use of some rooms. In the centre,
the box is labelled “CWR” or Cabinet War Room.
