cane hill | goodbye cane hill

We regrouped and made our way south towards the battered Administration Block. Many of the modern office extensions, added into the small courtyard between the Chapel and arterial corridors, were now open, the former barricading and boarding ripped from the doors. They were still mostly furnished with filing cabinets and drawers opened and rifled through. Patient records could be found spilling out of open drawers, and scatted across the floors and along the corridors.

Not that anyone in authority cared about this misplaced paperwork. The official line remained: Cane Hill was cleared.
