Cameras were packed, tripods were collapsed and boots were re-tied. We decided to cut straight across the bulldozed centre of the site,
cut back to Administration, and try our luck with the fence by Browning/Blake.
It would be quicker than navigating the remains of the horseshoe corridor and hopefully the patrol who’d been mirroring
our northern passage through the hospital on the footpath would remain by the Portnalls Road.
It felt even more like the final "Do Or Die" card played in Risk. We’d already thrown a number of dice, and managed, somehow,
to evade capture. This was the final run.
