Turning south, we entered Mapother ward, a pleasant internal ward,
with a large greenhouse/conservatory type area.
It was probably for this reason that it was converted into an art room, where patients
were encouraged to paint and draw.
All their drawings are still there. Not so neatly stacked anymore, but tipped onto
the floor. A shame but they’re still fresh and relatively undamaged.
