In this shot, looking down the ward, the curtain rails could be seen on either side of the room.
At the end were doors to each of the individual rooms. They were all locked. These rooms must
have been bleak because they had no windows - they simply backed onto the main corridor.
Pugin was a much more functional ward and lacked the style and opulence of Wesley.
