The pillars supporting the arches were painted in Cane Hill blue, but the colour blended in well here.

Amazingly the pews were all still here, undamaged and complete.

The floor still had its original Victorian red and black tiles.

The fire brigade, when putting out the fire in the main hall, probably put the hazard tape up. Odd that they should’ve chosen to go through the chapel and not through one of the parallel corridors.
