We weren’t interested in the generator and left it well alone.
The rooms around the courtyard were open and
we peered in - to find the surreal world of the carpenters, painters and
plumbers. This part of the hospital
hadn’t changed much - as the 1888 plans talk of painters and plumbers as well.
This was obviously the carpenters.
