The elevated position also gave unexpected views of the other female wards which could only be
seen in profile from the footpath. Female Ward E was a short ward for chronic patients whilst the
three storey Female Ward F towered over it.
Female Ward F was unique at Cane Hill; no analog appeared on the male side of the hospital.
