crx | fearlessly facing flincher

All tours of the CRX should commence in The Feathers, a rather lovely public house situated opposite the gates of Cliveden, a fantastic country house and grounds owned by The National Trust. Both are highly recommended.

The Feathers, with roaring fires, comfy seats and piped music in the toilets (a touch of class) features an excellent menu and a warm welcome to people covered in hospital muck – we were still picking off pieces of Cane Hill whilst relaxing in its pleasant atmosphere.

But, with only a couple of hours of daylight left, on a day that never really got light, we collected our urban exploration gear from the discretely parked Celica, and walked down the road. We had an appointment with the CRX.

"If you want to visit the CRX these days, DON'T park in The Feathers. Park somewhere else. However, if you're in the area and want to sample some excellent food then please try The Feathers. Just don't mix The Feathers and the CRX. Thank you"
