She contacted me a few months later and asked whether I'd be interested in Graylingwell. I knew of it and knew its reputation. It was a relatively anonymous asylum, medium sized and located in picturesque settings to the north of Chichester. Most of the main buildings were derelict but some wings and ancillary buildings were still in use. But Graylingwell had a reputation.
