hellingly | the gt hine lock-in

Before I came, I knew that Hellingly was smashed. Brutally obliterated by vandals who’d come specially to do it; they’d travelled far, and so felt obliged to do the most damage they could. And then the hospital infrastructure itself had just also given up. For example, Park Prewett, Cherry Knowle and Rauceby: all by the same architect, built to the same specifications, all still relatively intact, all derelict for the same amount of time. And then there’s Hellingly; smashed and falling to pieces.
