Did you laugh? We did. Much of the graffiti in Hellingly, and there was a lot of it,
was the same mindless banter, but occasionally someone would put their finger on the pulse with a comment
(there’s a good example coming up later).
Nerves shot, we found humour where it was intended, even if it was black and utterly disrespectful.
