We ventured into a tiled room, with a balcony and winch, and looked out
into the engineering courtyard. It turned out that Hellingly was a mirror image
of Rauceby, and instead of stumbling into the laundry, we’d found Engineering.
The room stank of oil and machinery and it was looking rather dark and grimy outside.
