I’d previously been told the boiler house was inaccessible. I would’ve been willing to chance it, trying all
sorts of routes and methods, but was concerned that the reporters wouldn’t be happy.
But we’d spied some other interesting buildings, and these looked like parts of the original estate, so we
made for those. Plus a car had been heard driving around on the site; the last thing I wanted to do was split
the group up.
