We exited this small kitchen and found ourselves in a corridor. And I immediately felt at home - the endless
perspective, the sloping roof - it was like being at Cane Hill again.
The ‘22‘ on the wall was a security checkpoint. After the hospital closed, security used to patrol, following
the arrows on the floor, and swiping their cards at checkpoints to prove that they’d actually been walking
their beat. I’d take more photos of the previous security activities later.
