During the afternoon, we wondered around the site, exploring villas at random, and
walking around part of the perimeter fence of the main hospital complex (we were
unable to do a full circuit).
For that reason, this group of pictures don’t constitute a tour, nor a logical path
that could be followed, but rather give a flavour of the buildings and grounds which
make up the Severalls complex.
For example, we found this small gatehouse on the northeast fringe of the site. It was
probably a laborers cottage before the hospital was built, and was subsequently pressed
into use as part of the incinerator complex.
It was small, boarded up, and rather uninteresting, but serves as an example of the many
building types to be found around Severalls.
