A detail of the ward taken on the more murky and overcast Friday. Again, the curtains add a certain eerie
effect to the bay windows.
Notice the small brick arches above each of the windows. The brick arches support the building over the
windows - the stone mullions being too weak to do the job just by themselves. You see this touch in many
brick buildings with stone mullions.
