And change they have. There's been many changes since I last visited. This location, much loved for its
easy and relaxed feel, a training ground for emerging explorers, and the backdrop for films and band promos is
slowly evolving.
The leafy and lush grounds have been bulldozed and flattened; the buildings have been newly boarded; security
now patrol and we’re expecting a perimeter fence soon.
The open season at West Park is over.
