Of course, every Victorian gentleman required a Chapel, and the third Baronet,
Sir Frances Edward Scott, employed his friend Sir Gilbert Scott (no relation) to design
the gothic addition to the ever extended south western face of the house (presumably in an
attempt to stop themselves building any more).
