The tarmaced road lead up Clarke's Hill, through this impressive tree-lined avenue. To say it was windy would be an
understatement.
Oddly, we had a choice. The road to Uplands was 100 yards to our south, parallel, and equally impressive. These two roads
lead to two large, destroyed houses. And the locals' story connected both with tragedy.
