It was like entering the void. This huge space was lit by a skylight, the sunlight
outside now diffused and tinted, giving the interior an eerie blue hue, which was now
becoming the site’s signature colour. In the centre of the room (if you could even call
this space a room) was another huge testing chamber, weighed down with gangways and ladders;
ridiculously thick metal doors lead into the interior of the pipe, the interiors plastered
with further dials and test equipment. Soon we were climbing more ladders, peering
through inch thick window glass into test chambers and just simply trying to capture a
fraction of this incredible space using our digital cameras.
