At the eastern end of the building, a bay opened out towards one of the remaining kilns. The three
chimneys belonging to this kiln (adorned with 'L', 'B' and 'C') were spectacularly demolished several
years previously. I assume their falling rubble crushed the remaining chambers which were now bricked up.
