ditchingham maltings | there but for the grace of god

Ditchingham Maltings was Major Tom's place. Before he got involved (some would say obsessed) with Severalls, his favourite exploration was this group of derelict industrial buildings in Suffolk. Given its county, some would perhaps picture a crumbly old rural pile, nestled next to a pink-painted chocolate-box thatched cottage. But Ditchingham Maltings is the perfect example of a blot on the landscape: how did the people of Suffolk put up with this for so long?
