The eastern end of the maltings plant was dark and cold. Water was already dripping through the ceiling
rejuvenating puddles of slime on the concrete floor.
The area was partitioned into several large sections. Parts of the ceiling were open, whilst there were
several dark voids in the floor where machinery had been removed.
