And the projectors were still there. We did try to fire them up, as power was everywhere else, but we
couldn’t find a master switch. A lucky thing really.
I've just been working my way through your excellent site and
just want to mention something about the BTH projectors you found at
Aquila. I live in Rugby, just around the corner from the Mill Road
works where BTH were originally based, so it's possible the could have
been made there. What I did want to mention is that even though those
projectors were over 40 years old, they would have worked flawlessly.
How do I know? Well, at Rugby theatre, we have the same projector for
when we put films on, and it's never put a foot wrong! - Steve
