I walked over to the center of the triangular lawn and took this picture of the
third building along the road (the first being the Officers’ Mess and the
Sergeants Mess).
This was the Corporals'And Airmens' Dining Room – the pillars at
the front of the building, along with the three first floor storey windows
above them, gave it is distinctive style. (Shared by a later design at Duxford 6848/39).
Smorgy can be seen near the building - probably falling down a hole.
