The Green Barley Store had been converted to office space. Papers lay scattered around, as did various flimsy tables and a filing cabinet.

The construction was much the same as the rest of the malting with huge cast iron columns supporting equally huge girders and joists. We noted the floor above had wooden slats and that they appeared firm.

We took the stairs up to the next floor.
