The map (above) and the aerial views below only show about a third of the airfield. Luckily, it's mainly the areas we explored, so it'll give an idea of the layout of the buildings and an indication of the size of the site. (Image supplied by courtesy of www.urbanassault.org.uk)

Here's the main areas we explored:

Officers' Mess (Exterior). Jolly fine day for an exploration!
Sergeants’ Mess (Exterior). Unsmashed glass found!
Corporals'And Airmens' Dining Room . Beans on toast please.
Station Sick Quaters (Exterior). Oh Matron.
Gas Decontamination #1. Walking through the wrong way.
Gas Decontamination #2. Walking through the right way.
Main Stores. Storing nothing but leaves now.
Type 'C' Hanger. Pictures of black cats, in coal cellars, with their eyes shut.
Pyrotechnics Store. Not smoking.
Chapel/Classroom. Where sheep meet their maker.
Boiler House (Exterior). It would've been a good view from up there.
Sergeants' Mess (Exterior). From the back.
Officers' Mess. And this is where we got lost.
Cinema. Was the last film The Dambusters?
Serving Room. Walking on the ceiling
Dining Room/Ballroom. Let's eat and dance.
